Mortgage Operations Assistant
Summary: Provide support in secondary market loan payoffs, handle special projects and serve as back up to division positions. A friendly attitude and ability to work in a team environment is required in this high activity department.
Responsibilities: Monitor locked loan pipeline, verify accuracy of wires, pay off loans when purchased and handle associated reporting and tracking. Order home appraisals and all related processes related to appraisals. Monitor investor and interest calculations for reporting of tax documentation. Perform General Ledger reconciliations, pay division bills. Must adhere to federal and state banking and loan regulations. Maintain high level of fiscal responsibility
Requirements: Preferred experience – Associates degree in Business Administration or Finance. One to three years of experience in mortgage lending environment. Excellent communication skills. Drive for customer satisfaction and embrace bank’s sales and cross-servicing culture by knowledge of our products and services. Have working knowledge in Microsoft Office software.
